We’re excited to invite your school to join a small, carefully selected consortium of Montessori schools working closely with the Montessori Foundation for hands-on support, expert coaching, and a strong sense of community.

As a member, your school will receive:

  • Weekly Live Zoom Calls: Join Tim Seldin, Robin Howe, and fellow school leaders each week for focused conversations on leadership, enrollment, communication, staffing, and other challenges you may be facing. These sessions will be interactive and collaborative, offering both strategy and solidarity. We will choose days and time together. We will divide the weekly sessions into confidential check ins and discussions around a specific topic or topics that you wish us to explore in depth. We will not record the times when members share what may be confidential information, but we will record and send you the recordings of the discussions.

  • On-Demand Consulting Support: You’ll have direct access to our senior consultants—Tim Seldin and Robin Howe—when you need help crafting a sensitive email, navigating a difficult decision, speaking with your staff or parents, or simply getting a second opinion. Think of us as an extension of your leadership team.

This will not be a large, impersonal program. It’s a close-knit circle of schools receiving personalized, ongoing support. Cohorts will be limited in size.

Caveat: we understand that there will be months when you may not need to call on us at all, and there may be another time when the unexpected happens and you need to ask us for more extensive help. This offer anticipates that your school will call on us for approximately two additional hours a month or approximately 24 hours over the course of a year.

The cost is $350/month or $3,500/year (if paid in advance)—an affordable way to have expert guidance at your fingertips year-round.

The consortium is a tremendous bargain! If you were to have us consult with you individually, it would cost $20,400 a year.

Village Montessori School of Bluemont has benefited from its relationship to the Montessori Foundation and International Montessori Council throughout its’ 18 years of service to the Loudoun County community. I began calling on Tim Seldin for help and advice before the school opened. He has steered me in the right direction at crucial times during these past 18 years. He has been unselfish in giving his time and attention to our growth pains, difficulties with staffing, help with Parent Education, and teacher training for my entire staff.

When our school closed in March 2020, along with all the schools in the state of Virginia, due to Covid, the council set up meetings for Heads of Schools to help support and guide them through the tangle of disruption that everyone everywhere was experiencing. Our school has been a member of the International Montessori Council since 2007 and has held accreditation since 2016. We owe the success of our Secondary program to the ingenuity of IMC and Bridgemont.

As I have grown older in my relationship with the Montessori Foundation and utilized its many areas of expertise, I remain grateful for the peaceful, kind, caring, and wise council I have received and hope to continue to receive through the next part of our journey.
